The E-Swede (a man I've never met but have an Internet correspondence with) spotted this photo on my mother's blog. He reckons it would be a good one for my "I'm-an-author-you-believe-me-right?" shot. Whaddaya reckon?

Much better! You no longer look uncomfortable in your own skin.
I agree! I luv this one! and I luv the cocktail dress one - but you look like ur going to the prom?! a wedding? anyhoo, it's a flattering one as well. I wonder what this one would look like in black & white?
Prom at 35? Nah, just a formal occasion on the QE2. Weird culture, that of cruise ships, although at least the QE2 has more legitimacy as it is somewhat historic.

Do you have a hi-res version for print?
Not sure yet. I think it was a film photo, but I also don't know how sharp the face is.
I like this one. If you can find a high-res version, I say: Yes!
I think you should go for something in the strapless pink cocktail dress range. It will scream "Author".
Har har har... did you ever see this one? 'Bout as close as I'll get in this lifetime.
This photo is awesome! Great natural light and a relaxed pose. Thumbs up!
