Souvenir Show



In Bolivia, you can buy knitted finger puppets by the ton.

And then you can put on a puppet show, even if your Spanish sucks as much as mine does. I made one that goes like this:

L: "¿Cómo se llama?"

S: "Mi llamo es El Hombre Araña. ¿Cómo se llama?"

L: "Mi llamo es Llama!"

You don't need the 'es' - 'Me llamo' translates to 'I call myself...' so the sentence can simply be:

"Me llamo Llama"

Luckily, puppets are the universal language, so the quality of your Spanish is not an issue.

I wonder what kind of background you could use in this photo? Andes Mountain or NYC cityscape?
