Funny - Just last night I posted a 1980 Polaroid photo of me and my brother in front of the Uniroyal Giant Tire off I-94!
BTW, my sis works at the Mich. History Museum in Lansing - they are doing a 2009 exhibit of roadside attractions, and are looking for photos and "artifacts." Check out their HAL web site for more info.
