I don't know much about dead animals, even though as a kid I used to pet the dead deer my father would shoot and will them back to life. (It didn't work.) I couldn't figure out what these animals were.
Actually, I think you were right. I don't know what it was with the long furry tail, but today I went back and it was just those fat, flattish tails like those sheep you're talking about.
It must have been a freak thing... some animal not normally there, or maybe different animals show up on different days.
I have a flat but I can't make blogger work right at the moment. I'm having trouble publishing.

My guess is fat-tailed sheep, although that's more a Central Asian thing.
I'll try to get a closer photo. The tails were long and thin! Very strange.
